How long is the recovery?
The sutures will be removed 10 days following the procedure. At this time any scabbing that occurs at the site of the hair transplants will typically be healed.

Can women with just a little bit of thinning hair have a transplant?
The process of recovery from hair transplantation surgery for women is significant because of an occurrence called Telogen Effluvium (temporary shedding of the native hair). When the native hair sheds you will appear to have less hair than before the surgery. It may take years to see an overall improvement. Hair transplant surgery is an option for women, but is better applied to women with a high hairline or significant thinning at the partline.
